Shaun Yeh, national tax practice director for Tax Point Advisors, will be a featured program speaker at the ACEC Midwest States Conference on June 7th, 2019. The American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) and its state branches are devoted exclusively to advancing the business interests of consulting engineering firms. The ACEC Midwest State Conference is scheduled for June 6-8, 2019, at the Chateau on the Lake in Branson, Missouri. Tax Point Advisorswill have a table at the conference.
During his talk, Shaun will walk through R&D tax credit qualification steps for engineering companies under the four-part test embodied in Internal Revenue Code section 41. He will also cover the qualified research expenditures that can be captured and discuss changes to the R&D tax credit from recent tax legislation.
