Now in our sixteenth year, Tax Point Advisors, the nation’s premier provider of R&D tax credit study services, is adding to our growing team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about our client and CPA relationships. We are in search of a CPA with a current/active license, or an Enrolled Agent, with a minimum of five years of tax and accounting experience (tax experience is mandatory), to join our team as an R&D Tax Credit Project Manager. This position, reporting to our Senior Vice President, Tax Controversy Services and Quality Control, will manage the delivery of our range of R&D tax credit study services to clients across the U.S. The role requires a strong tax and accounting background, exemplary leadership skills, and exceptional relationship skills with clients, CPAs, and all external and internal constituents.
Start Date: by May 1, 2025
Location: this is a remote position, with strong preference for a New-England-based hire. Travel to other states is required periodically.
Requirements: current (active) CPA license or EA required. Project Manager will be required to maintain licensure going forward. At least five years of tax and accounting experience.
Compensation: salary plus benefits.

Desired Qualifications
An accounting degree or equivalent is preferred, as is experience with professional sales and client service. The position also requires a strong understanding of federal and state taxes. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and is self-motivated and willing to travel when necessary. Attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and discipline with regard to time management are a must.
