Prior to joining Tax Point Advisors, Lisa worked for a Big 4 firm, in California and Michigan, and then for a large Midwest regional CPA firm where she managed the R&D tax credit practice, saving clients in excess of $200 million. After more than a decade of in-depth technical R&D experience, Lisa joined Tax Point Advisors as leader of our Midwest U.S. practice.
Lisa’s activities outside of R&D credits include a number of volunteer efforts, including Inforum – A Professional Women’s Alliance; active roles with the Girl Scouts of Southeastern Michigan; and the Grace Centers of Hope Walk-a-thon Committee. Lisa has often been a speaker on R&D tax credit matters, including speaking roles for MichBIO, a nonprofit association representing more than 600 bioscience companies, universities and academic institutions dedicated to advancing Michigan’s bioscience industry.
Lisa is an honors graduate from Central Michigan University.
