Director, National Tax Practice (Great Lakes Regional Office)
Bruce consults with a broad range of companies to help create a ‘best practice” benefit for the R&D tax credit incentive. Bruce is a trusted advisor to CPA’s, bankers, attorneys, and financial advisors, with clients ranging from large multinational corporations to start-up businesses.
Because of his expertise, Bruce works with many companies that are not aware of their eligibility for tax credits and incentives, and has been critical in helping them understand what direct/indirect activities and expenses qualify, and the necessary documentation to support their claims. Bruce also advises companies who had disappointing experiences in prior attempts at claiming their R&D credits, or who were previously rejected under examination because of lack of preparation or understanding of tax regulations.
With over 30 years of business consulting experience, and working with over 500 companies, Bruce provides hands-on operational and technical expertise with a broad range of manufacturers, software developers, construction contractors and many other industry sectors across the US, helping them save millions of dollars. With his operational knowledge, Bruce has been critical in identifying R&D activities that are frequently missed or misunderstood.
